SHRIMP FESTIVAL QUEEN AGREEMENT
Upon acceptance
of the title of Delcambre Shrimp Queen let it be known that it is an
honor, responsibility and
commitment for one year to represent the
Delcambre Shrimp Festival at various functions.

I agree that I am between the ages of 18-23 by
August 1st, a resident of the State of Louisiana for at
least 9 months, have never been married, nor had a child.

I agree to spend the 3rd full weekend in
August participating in the Delcambre Shrimp Festival from Friday
night thru Sunday at 2pm.

I agree to be courteous, conducting myself in a
lady like manner at all times.

I agree not to consume alcohol or smoke while
representing the Delcambre Shrimp Festival. Removal of crown and
banner while attending a festival does not exempt me from my
responsibility.

I agree not to compete for any other title during
my reign except for LAFF Queen of Queens. Competing at Queen of
Queens is at my own expense. At this time I DO NOT have a title
of any sort. I will ONLY wear the crown & banner awarded to me.

I agree to report plans for travel to the directors
upon my response to each festival and have an adult over the age
of 21 (if you are under 21) accompany me at all times unless
approved by the directors. I will be under the direct supervision
of the pageant directors.

I agree to allow the Delcambre Shrimp Festival to
use my information and photographs to promote the festival.

I agree the Delcambre Shrimp Festival is not
responsible for loss of personal belongings, accidents or
illnesses during my travels.

I agree to take the best care of the crown, scepter
& banner. If any damage occurs during my reign I must notify the
directors and I am responsible for the repair cost. I CAN NOT
repair any of the items myself nor hire someone to repair them for
me. The replacement cost of the crown is $1,500.00 and the cost
of the train & mantle is $2,000.00.

I agree to send monthly reports with travel and
appearances to Hedi Frederick.

I agree to keep all receipts for travel & postage
pertaining to my travels while representing the Delcambre Shrimp
Festival. These must be turned in with travel report. I
understand that reimbursement will be based on the Board’s
discretion.

I agree to attend at least twenty (20) LAFF
festivals. I am required to attend the following eleven (11)
festivals:

Sugar Festival New Iberia
Louisiana Cattle Festival Abbeville
International Rice Festival Crowley
Louisiana Shrimp & Petroleum Morgan City
Crawfish Festival Breaux Bridge
Yambilee Festival Opelousas
Fur and Wildlife Festival Cameron
Louisiana Catfish Festival Des Alemandes
Orange Festival Fort Jackson
Erath 4th of July Celebration Erath
Louisiana Strawberry Festival Ponchatoula
If at any time the above agreement is broken I agree to forfeit the
title crown, banner & gifts. All property
and awards must be
returned to the Delcambre Shrimp Festival. The Delcambre Shrimp
Festival Board has
the right to
determine anyone ineligible.
