
15th Annual Shrimp Cook-off

Rules:
1. Entry fee $50.00 per team.
2. 4 people per team/extra members will need to buy and entry bracelet at the gate.
3. Each team member will receive a Saturday entry bracelet.
4.
You are to cook a dish with shrimp as the main ingredient.
A maximum of 5 lbs. of
shrimp or a minimum enough for 4 judges.
5.
You are to bring your butane stove or grill, etc. cooking utensils,
ingredients and
water. (No water or electricity will be provided)
6.
No precooked roux, chop your ingredients when you get there. You are
allowed to
peel shrimp before and you can bring cooked rice or pasta if needed.
7.
Each team will be allowed to sell their dish to the public between 1:30pm
and
3:00pm.
8. Each bowl can be sold for $2.50 or less, you must provide bowls for the public.
9. No campers due to limited space, cover tarps are allowed.
10. All equipment and tarps are to be removed by 4:00pm.
11.
Ice chest will be allowed to contain food for preparation in the
cook-off. Do not
bring in beverages or
food for consumption.
12. Set up time 9:00am, judging at 1:00pm.
13. Your dish will be judged on appearance, seasoning, and overall taste.
Each team will get 4 styrofoam trays/bowls to serve their entry on.
14. Number order of judging will be determined by the order entry forms are received.
